Ferrari pilot Carlos Sainz shared his opinion on how the 2022 season turned out for him.


According to Sainz, he was pleased with the progress and the amount of work done and next year he will be noticeably better prepared to fight in the championship.


To be honest, now I am much more optimistic and more confident in our prospects than half a season ago. Speed, work with tires, race pace, qualifying - in the last races of the season in all these aspects I was able to add. In all this, I returned to the level that I am actually able to demonstrate.


I have managed to return to the level at which I really should have been from the beginning of the season, and this gives me reason for optimism.


And also I have a feeling that I have finally managed to fully adapt to the new technical regulations, and whatever the next year`s car turns out, I will be ready to drive it to the limit.


I have changed a lot in my aerobatics. Reset many settings. Of course, I wish I didn`t have to do this, but on the other hand, it made me a more perfect racer, Sainz said.
