Ralf Schumacher compared the successes of George Russell and Nico Rosberg as part of Mercedes.


Rosberg overtook Lewis Hamilton in 2016 to win the title, Russell overtook the seven-time champion in 2022 to take his first career win and finish fourth overall.


According to German Sky pundit and former F1 driver, 37-year-old Hamilton is close to retirement, which could give Ralph`s nephew, Mercedes reserve driver Mick Schumacher, a chance.


"Suppose George Russell is faster than Lewis Hamilton again. Would he (Hamilton) want to continue? It would be interesting.


But Lewis is so respected at Mercedes that he can make his own decisions. Whatever the case, the money won`t matter, he has more than enough of it. The deciding factor will be who the car is best for.
