Anastasia Potapova commented on the fact that her match against Victoria Golubic at Roland Garros was interrupted due to rain before the game, when she was serving for the match.

"In fact, there was nothing in my head, because this is not the first time this has happened. We already have experience with rain and transfers.

I didn`t play tennis at all for two days. It was very uncomfortable to play today. It seems that two days is nothing, but when you are in a nervous environment, it affects. For everyone, the hardest match in the tournament is the first. I passed it, but due to the fact that there was no training or tennis for two days, it felt like it was the first round again. So it was nervous, uncomfortable, plus Golubich is not a very comfortable player: he cuts, then punches, then unscrews. But I`m glad that I managed and finished what I started.

- Apparently she was even more uncomfortable (smiles). To be honest, I didn`t expect this. I watched her play with Krejcikova. Although Barbora is not in the best shape right now, she also needs to be beaten - after all, she is the Grand Slam champion on our site. So today I was a little surprised by the level of her play. She played, probably 30 percent. Or I didn`t let her play out. Apparently the totality of everything came into play here and it turned out like this.

- At that moment I still won eight points in a row. I took a 3-2 lead with a break and then won eight balls in a row. Moreover, she lost them herself - I didn`t really participate in this (laughs). But somehow it was very strange - they saw that the score was 5:2, I was serving for the match. It was clear that we were [about] to finish. I was sure that nothing could happen. And when the referee comes out and says that the courts need to be closed because it might rain now. . . And I say: Give him at least a chance to go. Okay, yesterday it rained all day, but the day before yesterday the courts were not opened, only because it was expected to rain. I say: Okay, what`s the problem? If it rains, we`ll leave, you close the courts, no problem. But there are rules here that seem strange to me. You have to adapt to them.

- Basically, this morning I pressed a little, I don`t do this often, but I didn`t have the strength anymore, because when we came for the warm-up - I had a warm-up from 9:00 to 9:30-we warmed up in the gym for an hourand literally 10 minutes before we had to go on court, they started closing them. I say: Stop! What`s happening? - It`s going to rain now.

I already called the tournament predicted by fix football predictions archive director and said: Listen, I`m not training for the third day, I`m playing my first start, and if I don`t warm up for at least 5-10 minutes now, then the risk of injury increases greatly. I don`t need it, you don`t need it. Maybe you can at least give us a chance to warm up, maybe even with a little rain? . Because again there was no rain yet and there was nothing to predict that there would be heavy rain, there were not even dark clouds. I say: Let`s resolve this issue now, because this is somehow too much.

And after about five minutes the courts had already opened, we managed to warm up for literally 10 minutes, and then the next ones who were signed up came to warm up. In general, everything is somehow crumpled, all these days are incomprehensible and boring, " Sports correspondent Andrei Vasiliev quotes Potapova as saying.
