Last year he was probably a little nervous, he was under some tension from the beginning of the weekend. This season he was immediately much more relaxed. From the first lap of the first practice he had a fantastic weekend, flying around the track. Even despite the problem in the first segment with a plastic bag in the front wing - we had to go into the pits, we lost two or three laps in a row because of this.


We could have taken off after the first segment, but he remained very calm. He was in control from the very beginning. The race was probably not the most exciting for the spectators, but after the red flag we knew that we would have to drive 76 laps on one set of tires, " said Vasser.

It was even more difficult for Carlos as we asked him not to let Piastri go too far in case of a potential safety car, but at the same time slow Norris down towards Russell.
