Mourinho dissatisfied: Liverpool is doing well and we are lagging behind - we are having a bad season

The Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho does not hide his disappointment with the selection so far. Prior to the control against Bayern Munich (0:1), the Portuguese openly called on the executive vice president of the club, Ed Woodward, to provide him with the desired addition to the center of defense. But the facts disprove Mourinho, at least in terms of Liverpool`s comparison. Since the summer of 2016, Merseyside have spent 114 million in net transfers or nearly three times less than United`s net costs of 307 million.

This summer the Red Devils paid 59 million for Shakhtar`s midfielder(Donetsk) Fred and 22 million for the youngster Diogo Dalot from Porto. But Jose wants primarily a proven central defender, and the options are Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire.
